This is just a shocking article on the state of the Michigan program—and it really makes me wonder just how many football players UM has on it's roster...scholarshipped players, that is.

Of the players listed on the mgoblue.com roster, nearly 50 are in the preferred walk-on candidates. A number have been through the program for a while, arriving as walk-ons -- Bryant Nowicki, Kevin Leach, Tim North and Jared Van Slyke among them.

Looking to tap walk-ons for contributing to UM.

I can't imagine Carr leaving that program bankrupt of talent. There must have been some serious attrition when Rich Rod came in.
