🏈 What might be the worst take for the '22 season from a UGA fan.

We all know that UGA has recruited well so they will win 10+ games simply due to talent.

Georgia football schedule 2022: Game-by-game predictions for Bulldogs' season

"Georgia football game-by-game predictions for the 2022 season are finally here, a summer installment 247Sports will try and continue daily for every team in the SEC ahead of media days. The Alabama version and South Carolina's projection are already out, but no spoilers here.

Georgia is one of the preseason favorites to win it all as the defending national champions despite losing a program-record number of first-round and overall NFL Draft picks. And we've got the Bulldogs in the playoff this fall, but not necessarily going in as an unbeaten.

Every team in the SEC is chasing Georgia and Alabama, and there are several just outside the national conversation on the Bulldogs' schedule this season who will be chomping at the bit to try and upset the champs."

Overall record: 11-1 (7-1)

This is true. When LSU has a coaching staff whose attention is focused on football rather than what's offered on Bourbon Street, they recruit well enough to win 10+ games.
Louisiana is a hotbed of athletes. And has been as far back as I can remember. Which is far back. :D My dad was a founding father of Little Boys League (now Dixie Youth) baseball in the State of Alabama. He managed the 1958 Central Park Little Boys League Champions and would have managed their 1959 Championship team but was medically unable to coach that year. Throughout the years, the teams from Louisiana were the ones most competitive with the Central Park teams.

I grew up in Central Park and played in the CP baseball leagues in the mid 60s. The CP Baseball Little League was a well run first class organization in those days. Was your Dad still involved in the league at that time?

We just placed 2nd in State at the Georgia State Dixie Youth Tournament.

I haven't looked at TARP yet and one of the reasons is I suspect it doesn't tell the whole story. One thing I have to credit Kirby with is he has, routinely, played quite a few players. Yes, UGA has lost "program-record number of first-round and overall NFL Draft picks." However, much like Alabama, we can't dismiss guys coming back who've been first off the bench. It would be kin to saying "inexperienced Dallas Turner."

Man that Georgia schedule is abysmal. SoS was not their top priority this year. If it wasn't for the Oregon opener I wonder if only 3 teams might be ranked when they face Georgia. Maybe less. Alabama probably looking at worst at 5 ranked teams played this year at best 7.

Georgia has had a cupcake schedule the last ten years. FinLky play Clemson and Clemson is down for the first time in years. It all aligns for them.

THE SEC

Toughest:
AUBURN (No. 1 nationally)

Easiest: GEORGIA (No. 58 nationally)

Defending national champion Georgia does open the season vs. Oregon in Atlanta but draws Mississippi State as its rotating opponent from the wild SEC West, thereby avoiding Alabama, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, and LSU all together. The Bulldogs also get the benefit of drawing Tennessee, which may finally be positioned to vie for an East division crown, at home.

Would have been great to seeUGA have to go to A$M....or LSU....

But....dont write the MSU Bulldogs off.... tough to prepare for and MSU can be tough at home...

Its bad when we want an improved Florida and Tennessee ( or even AU) to give UGA some needed competition

Don't care what the spread is. I'm taking the Bulldogs and the points against THE Bulldogs in the Sportsbook.
