@94 Grad, it's been going for a bit now. That's the reason I've been so adamant defending the kicking game...blame has been misplaced.

Maybe some... but honestly on some of the kicks we missed last year... the hold was the least of the issues... especially on the extra points missed.

Why do we have the QB holding anyway?.... so that some day down the line we can run a fake FG and pass the ball? I just don't see the advantage of having that in your back pocket when we can't make FG. Put a Walkon kid or a 2nd/3rd stringer in their and let them run the hell out of reps with the kicker/snapper to get it perfect every time. I'd trade a more consistent FGM% over the ability to run a fake.

I don’t know for sure and this is just my opinion. But I’d think say it is a bad snap or some mishap.... or fake field goal.... I’d rather the QB passing or throwing on the run.

My point of view.

These things have to be practiced. It's not a point of emphasis.

You want consistency on the offensive line early in the season and often point to cohesion. There's no greater truth on football.

The line on kicks...not a lot reps there, right? Remember that cohesion story we talked about?

Timing. Holder. Kick.
