Missouri did the impossible and beat OU in the Big 12 CG?

Before you say I need to go back to my padded cell and take my medication, let me say thaT I think there is a better chance of water flowing uphill than Mizzou beating the Sooners. Still, if it did happen, what would the BCS do. The Sooners would no longer be the foe of the SEC champ for the national title. Would it be the spurned Texas Longhorns, the recently trounced Red Raiders of Texas Tech or the media darlings at USC? Even Penn State and Utah might get some love here. What about the rest of the BCS then. With Mizzou getting the Big 12 automatic BCS bid, how many Big 12 teams would the BCS take as "at large" teams. There are the six automatic bids for the conference winners. Then you'd have to pick four at large from Oklahoma, Texas, Texas Tech, SEC runner up, Ohio State, Utah, Boise State, Ball State. It will never happen, but I'd love it should it come to pass.

I would guess that Texas (probably) or USC (possibly) would get a shot at the title.

Thats easy we would play TX in the 2nd place game and they would give USC the BCSNC just because. DUH!

Actually I think they would have TX in there anyway since the standings are so close between them and OK anyway. The other teams dont really deserve to play for the NC.

I have to agree that Texas backs in the BCS title game due to the two being so close in points. It would make up for the fact that they got jobbed considering they beat OU head to head.

BCS has to be #1 and #2 teams...no matter what conf I believe. that being said, they also have to have the conf champs in as well, so that would mean that Mizzou would be in as well.

The Texas fans here are hanging by a really tiny thread of hope that this will happen. I doubt it will, but we all know that Bob has choked at key moments...

I remember years ago watching Nick Saban's LSU Tigers destroy Oklahoma's #1 defense and the media asking him about it and he stated his defense was pretty dang good in it's own right. Yep, beating Florida and USC would be a great finish to this season.
