is why in the heck does the University of Alabama, with its first-class facilities, well-paid coaching staff, big SEC bowl payoffs, large fan revenue, premenuim Tide Pride ticket prices, etc., continue to live in the dark ages with the CSS coverage.

Damn, my parents old 196O-something Columbia television with a set of rabbit ears provided better reception than what I have seen from this sorry excuse for television sports coverage and video technology.

yea we missed the 2nd half of the 1st quarter because it lost the feed. pissed me off and there was more than one occasion where the cameraman followed a receiver down the field on a passing play with the QB going to another receiver.

One can always turn the sound down and listen to Eli's call while watching the tube, but for us, the video quality is so bad that it is almost unbearable to watch on a large screen. The sad truth is the smaller the television the screen the better (relatively speaking) the CSS broadcast looks.

Seriously, seems like a high quality broadcast would also help when it comes to impressing recruits.

Yep...got it on PPV through Direct and lost the feed right after Richardsons 35 yard run.....just flat out went black. Direct first told me that they offered no refunds...tried to convince me that the game must have went into OT and ran over its time slot :no-no::bs: After two supervisors and my having to act like a complete azz...they agreed to refund me $15....:lance::swear: AZZ HATS

I pretty much vowed a couple of years ago to never do PPV again. Of course, thanks to the andy folks on this website, I hooked my PC up to my LCD TV last night for the family to watch the game on PPV without the "pay".

I refused to purchase Gameplan for the first time in several years. The cost had risen to a ridiculous level. I'm about ready to dump DirecTV altogether. I used to really like it, but now that I can watch so much online it's no longer worth the extra $$.

I agree. I dont see why they cant hire a media team that has higher quality gear. Seriously I think my home video camera would do a better job. I'd even do it for less money.

On a small computer screen it is acceptable. But on a 42in HD tv, it is horrible.

I never lost feed but I didn't have sound till right before kick off and started loosing it again right after the game while Kraus was talking to CNS. And speaking of Watts and the other guy. Watts was ok but the other guy is as bad as Vern Dumbquist. When are these people gonna realize it's pronounced Mar(keese) Maze? He says it right talking about Marquise Johnson but sometimes, they even say HIS wrong like they do with Maze. Aren't their names spelled the same? And it's Rolando MCCLAIN Mr. Dumbquist. The A sounds like an O. Not RolAndo MCCAIN where the A sounds like an A and you leave out the L in McCLain. And learn which 2 people wear the same numbers and learn their positions. When does Julio ever play special teams defending kick returns? IT'S CHRIS FREAKING RODGERS. Sorry for yelling but it's aggrevating. When will these people ever learn? RTR.
