Is the team that we love so much, become the team that we all hated for so long? I'm talking about that school from up north? If this team is playing a high school, it will be on TV no matter what.
Please don't get me wrong, I'm kind of loving it that, not only the other SEC team HATE us, but the rest of the football schools do too! So my question is this ? Has our Alabama Crimson Tide become the NDumb of the football world? If so we all can thank Coach Saban for this , and I'm for one is very well pleased with it!

The Alabama Crimson Tide has become the great college football program of all-time. How do you measure greatness ? More National Championships, SEC Championships, Bowl game appearances and Bowl game wins than any other program.

People hate Bama like they hate ND, but for more than just tradition. People hate ND just because it is a tradition. When was the last time ND was really good for more than a year or two?

Good point but NO, we have NOT become the faggot irish. They never EARNED their 'acoolades' from the print and TV press. They were good, and were the 'national' team that all good catholics, including those in the press, could pull for. They got every benefit of the doubt and every positive spin - look at their 1977 NC. That was OURS according to ALL tradition of moving up, but they bypassed us and claimed the votes needed.

WE, on the other hand, have earned it - BOY have we earned it, competing in the SEC and dominating the way we have. We have not BECOME them, but rather we have, in an era of unparalleled parity, SURPASSED them.
