🏈 What does this mean for Pendry? (new OC)

With the hiring of an experienced OC, what does this do to Pendry? He doesn't have to hold little CMA's hand anymore, but does he still share co-OC duties?

It means he'll be the OL coach and possibly a advisor/consultant to the offense.

He will still have input and certainly be hands on with the game-planning... but I wouldn't be surprised if his gameday role diminished somewhat.

I hope they leave him (J-Mac)alone and let him do his job.
Why hire a creative coach and not let him create havoc or be creative after all he is a proven coach.

I am proud of this hire, seems like a good decisions. However, it still comes down to talent, and I see us as lacking in that area. This is a solid recruiting class coming in, but if even 1 or more of them contribute this coming season, we should be pleasantly surprised.

Yeah I agree too. I like the hire and think he'll do a great job for us. Maybe not the flashiest name out there but I like the hire.
