🏈 What about that POP Play for a TD?

Despite all of our many mistakes, that POP play they ran for a TD at the end of the game should have been called back, but nobody is talking about it. That could have had a major impact on the game. Even though Chad Kelley wasn't completely over the line, there was at least one offensive lineman more than 3 yards upfield blocking. That's a penalty and it rarely gets called. I think this is a major problem that needs to be addressed.

Alabama fans have a legit complaint about this Ole Miss pop pass TD

Same shit different year....

This play has had a big impact on 2 seasons now. I will say it's nearly impossible to ask the corner to stick with that WR, but the DB coach has yet to get the point across of how important that is.

If you really want to go into detail on that play - If Denzell Devall did not hesitate by stepping inside with the RB, Marlon likely wouldn't have come up to contest the first down.

Referees get graded too. Their accuracy impacts their ability to ref in the postseason and the following year (translated: it impacts how much $$ they can make). It doesn't help Alabama, but it does improve performance in the long run. This play will also be used to debate future rule changes and the enforcement of the existing rules.

Well the two coaches that like doing that type of playing. Both their QB's did the same thing yesterday! It both score a TD when the DB came back to help out.

Yup. But when Alabama fans start with the woulda, shoulda, coulda, they sound exactly like Auburn fans. I'm not going there. Ole Miss won, Alabama lost, move on to the next game and focus on getting better. I guarantee you that Ole Miss will lose and I'm confident they won't make Atlanta. The team with the target on their back is now LSU.
