The Ole Myth fans are all complaining about the officiating and saying that it was a bogus call...that if you are forced out you can come back in and that it is not reviewable anyway...and the MSU, Barner, and Pork fans are all patting them on the back in agreement.

What they are forgetting is that THAT WAS NOT THE REASON FOR THE REVIEW! The Bama defender intercepted the ball! The review was to see if the strip occurred before or after he was down! POSSESSION IS REVIEWABLE. While looking at that, they noticed that he was not an eligible receiver anyway.

I have watched the stinking tivo of the reception / interception 100 times and EVEN IF THE GUY WAS ELIGIBLE, THE BALL WAS INTERCEPTED AND THE DEFENDER WAS ON THE GROUND BEFORE HE WAS STRIPPED!!!! If the receiver had been eligible, it would have been Bama ball inside the 10.

I HATE whiners and MAN those Ole Myth fans are officiating whiners of USM proportions. I mean...its not like they were holding all day and it was not called (they were) and the officials spotted the ball down where their players slid to a stop.

Their crap is almost enough to make a preacher curse!

My husband is the biggest barner you will meet. He is constantly saying we get the breaks. When we won the game he was outside and missed it all.

When they showed the replay at the half of the UK game I was thinking to myself here we go; go ahead and lay it on real thick.

Right away he said NO DOUBT the receiver came back in bounds and the reversed call was correct. Wow! Trust me for him to say it was correct...it was correct.

Have you ever considered divorce?

Recently re-elected Memphis Mayor Willie Herenton's campaign slogan comes to mind when I see what the rest of the SEC's fans continue to cry about:

"Shake Off the Haters"

yes, that was his campaign slogan and yes he won his 5th term in office.

Whining is one thing. Assaulting a a coach on his way to the locker room is another.

I saw something on that Terry. Do you know who the coach was and what happened? I had heard it was a punch thrown. If that's the case what a classless thing to do. If indeed it is what happened I wonder if assault charges would be brought up against the ole miss fan.

If the ref had not been such a "homer", then the play would not have been overturned. There was a third infraction during the play, that has not been mentioned, and that was offensive pass interference. If any one of the three things(out of bounds, pass interference, or ball dead after interception) that happened had been called correctly then the play would have been confirmed. Of course if he had called pass interference, the play would not even have been reviewable.

I don't know if I saw the replay correct but I'm suprised the ref didn't throw his hat on the ground (receiver running out of bounds). It seemed obvious to me.

He obviously must of missed it because he was looking at who had possesion of the ball.

I thought everything was called correctly except they missed that the kid went out of bounds (like 5 yards out). In the end it was the correct call. Also Lionell Mitchell is our weak point in the secondary. He really needs to step it up.

They also missed the fact that LM had the ball when he hit the ground, therefore it was an interception and our ball and no drama would have ensued.

All a mood point anyway.

BTW, LM pretty much had perfect coverage on the play I thought. Props...
