LSU, Mississippi State, Western Carolina (lol), and the Barn remain. We've got a hot LSU, a beatable Mississippi State, a cupcake (sorry, Catamounts), and the Iron Bowl .. We have the talent and skills to go 4-0 from here .. But can we? LSU at night in BR is gonna be TOUGH. But we have home field for the other 2 big challenges .. I am nervous. I think we CAN do it, but whether or not we DO is another story ..

What do you guys predict for the final 4 games? A lot can change between now and the LSU game, let alone now and the Iron Bowl ..

I don't buy into the night game at Tiger stadium talk. I'm too lazy at the moment to look up the opponents during those night games. I know they haven't had many SEC night games the last few years and they haven't been happy about it either. That being said, since 2002, Alabama is 3-3 in Tiger Stadium...home field doesn't mean much.

Since 2002, Alabama and LSU have played 4 games in Tiger Stadium at night, the series is 2-2. Night game doesn't mean much...

2012, Bama won 21-17
2006, LSU won 28-14
2004, LSU won 26-10
2002, Bama won 31-0

The other 2 games 2010 and 2008 were 2:30pm games, 2008 Bama won 28-21, 2010 LSU won 24-21.

Being without Cam Robinson will have some impact, the question is how much. BYE week should allow the OL to get settled a bit more.

Check out the final schedules for the top 5 ..

1. Mississippi State (Arkansas, UTM, Bama, Vandy, Ole Miss)
2. FSU (Louisville, UVA, Miami, BC, Florida)
3. Bama (LSU, Mississippi State, WCU, Auburn)
4. Auburn (Ole Miss, TAMU, UGA, Samford, Bama)
5. Oregon (Stanford, Utah, Colorado, Oregon State)
6. Notre Dame (Navy, Arizona State, Northwestern, Louisville, USCw)
7. Ole Miss (Auburn, Presbyterian, Arkansas, Mississippi State)
8. MSU (Ohio State, Maryland, Rutgers, Penn State)
9. Georgia (Florida, Kentucky, Auburn, Charleston Southern, Georgia Tech)
10. TCU (WVU, Kansas State, Kansas, Texas, Iowa State)

Notre Dame and FSU have it relatively easy .. as does Michigan State. Georgia should take the SEC East, and TCU will have a fight at Morgantown but I can see them winning out.

I don't think the game in Red Stick has been officially picked up by either CBS or ESPN yet. Since LSWho? is warming up now, maybe CBS will see the value in picking it up. I hope so.
Texas A&M at Auburn or Alabama at LSU2:30 pmCBS / CBS Video (tentative)
Alabama at LSU or Texas A&M at Auburn7:00 pmCBS / CBS Video (tentative)

This has been the tentative schedule for CBS for several weeks. Can't see CBS passing on LSU-Bama in the 7:00 time slot after the Bama beatdown of atm, and the LSU win over Ole Miss. Note which games are listed first in each time slot.:D

Alabama finishing the season undefeated depends on the team's mentality. If they play the rest of the season like they did against TAM, no one in the country can beat them. That intensity seemed to be missing for some of the Viles game.

.. which was surprising and kind of disheartening, given who they were playing, and where. You'd think that, of all places, would be a game to be that fired up for.

LSU beats a top 10 team at home every year. They got that out of the way this past weekend...

You would think they are having that type of success at home, but they aren't. Since 2008 they are 4-4 at home against top ten teams. (FWIW, they haven't hosted a non-conference top ten team that I recall so this search is limited to SEC teams.)

Here's their record when playing a team that was ranked either on the year or at the time of the game:

Oregon has no easy path, as Stanford has been their nemesis for the last three seasons, and they also play surprising Utah. The Barn has three games against top seven teams, all on the road. TCU has two tough tests left, in W V and K State.
