🏈 GAME THREAD WEEK EIGHT: SEC / NCAA games of the week. (LIVE THREAD)

I turned over to catch the last 4 mins or so, pretty much right from the FG block return.

Special teams was the diff.

In my eyes there were two things that made this upset sweet. One, I tired—quickly—of hearing about Meyer's true road game streak. Yes, it was impressive if you look at the number by itself. What you don't see is 16 of those 20 wins were against teams that were unranked. Two of those wins over ranked teams (currently, not end of the year) are this season; OU and Wisky. There was one in '14, one in '15. The picture looks a little different, doesn't it?

Secondly, you guys remember when the Buckeyes and Tide met ... or go back to the games against Meyer's UF teams. What did we always hear? How good Meyer's special teams were/are. Again, true. But, sweet irony to see them result in a loss.

Which is also why we see Michigan's resurrection happening at break-neck speed. Where are the bloodbaths each week, the national drama, the constant upsets in among the ranks?
