Thoughts/predictions .. ?
- #2 FSU vs. NC State .. Remember last year when NC State upset an undefeated FSU and basically spoiled their season? Yeah, FSU hasn't forgotten. NC State is gonna get PUMMELED.
- #10 Texas Tech at #15 Oklahoma. Oklahoma wins, raising the sad spirits of Sooners fans around the nation.
- #21 South Carolina at #5 Mizzou .. Mizzou wins in a close match, getting their revenge for SC spoiling their SEC debut last year. Fun fact: Apparently, before last week, Mizzou had not beaten back-to-back ranked teams since 1972.
- #12 UCLA at #3 Oregon .. Several folks are picking an upset, but I don't see it. It will be a close game (by Oregon standards haha within 14-17 points, I think), but the Ducks roll.
- Penn State at #4 Ohio State .. A close one, but Buckeyes pull away late. The Nittany Lions versus the Buckeyes has historically been a good match up. Fun fact: Penn State is the most recent team to go into Columbus and win .. about 2 years ago, in their first win since JoePa was fired.
- #6 Stanford at #25 Oregon State. After last season's disappointing finish, the Beavers are gonna be eager (teehee, see what I did there?) for a big win, at home. They have the top passer and the top receiver in the nation at their disposal. I think Oregon State pulls off the upset by 7-10 points.
