The Tigers need a QB that is part of the running game to be successful in Malzhan's offense. Stidham is not a threat to run the QB option or lead. He is a drop back passer that has had trouble finding open receivers this year.

Here are 3 games that have the potential for 'upsets' depending on how you, in your own mind, declare upsets.

Memphis 4-3 vs. Mizzo 3-3. The Tigers of Elvis land could pull this one off. They can put points on the board but have trouble stopping people. Maybe this week they get some quality stops and come out of Columbia with a W.

Cincinnati 6-0 vs. Temple 4-3. Coach Fickell has the Bearcats playing good football right now. I would not be surprised if they came out of Philly with a win.

Michigan St. 4-2 vs. Michigan 6-1. State has owned the maize and blue over the last 10 games going 8-2. Sparty gets no respect from the Big 10 or anyone else but Dantonio usually takes 3 star kids and makes a very competitive football team. I am not saying State wins but I would not be suprised if they move that record to 9-2.

-110 to cover -9.5 ... here's what's intriguing. .10 for -.5 so buying a point gives ya Mizzou at -8.5. IOW, Mizzou basically giving 8.5 @ -132.

LSU is the obvious for the upset, they are in the middle of a tough stretch.

Can they beat a physical Miss State between a big win vs UGA and "LSU wants Bama"?

Safe to say Gardner made the right decision. No way in hell he was gonna beat Tua, much less Jalen.

It's 5:30 in the morning at Washington State and they've brought a crowd that rivals any I've seen this season.

Weird game to watch and root for a team. I've a bit of allegiance with Cristobal due to his time in Tuscaloosa. But, I have to admit, I'd love to see WSU with the win today if only to hear the press conference with Leach!
