🏈 GAME THREAD Week 13 - NCAA / SEC Games of the Week for Rivalry Weekend.

Notre Lame's 2nd TD, the one that Herbstreit and Fowler are lauding as "backyard football" was just pitiful defense on UNC's part (no, I'm too much of a curmudgeon to give Notre Lame any credit).

So far it doesn't look like either team's defense is really that good.

How is Rattler in the top 5? Geez. Guy has 6 INTs and a fumble or 2 if I remember correctly. And sacked 15 times. Maybe they are counting his solo tackles in the rating. He has at least 2. Probably leads the league for QBs.

Ryan Day pops positive so he's not traveling to Illinois. The fallout leads Ohio State to do another round of testing and not travel tonight choosing to travel Saturday morning for a noon kickoff.

Since his test result just came through, does this mean he misses next weekend, too?
Earlier in the week OSU didn't release their test results like they normally have. He, Day, may have tested positive any one of three days I'd assume (Weds-Friday.) I can't recall exactly how their protocols read (B1G) about returning. I think it's three weeks.

Random observation on how inconsistent both UNC and Notre Dame have been tonight (as well as both QB's in spite of their numbers.)

Combined these two teams punted 12 times today. Alabama has 18 on the season.

Lol, Kirby and I'll presume other SEC head coaches are now talking about tougher conference play. Hope this equates to a 9 game conference schedule in the near future.

"I welcome anybody that wants to jump in our conference and play 10 games. They’re more than welcome to. They can come right on over here with us and play 10 games if they want to play our conference schedule. Be more than happy to let them.”
