anybody have suggestions- bars to watch the game in NO?

I'd recommend staying close to other Bama fans while down there. Strength in numbers, you know.

The Rusty Nail on Constance street is a Bama bar downtown.

I live in New Orleans. I think you'll be fine anywhere--crimson or not! You'll have enough of your brethren around. There's a new Walk-Ons a couple of blocks from the Dome with tons of big screens, but you're out of the Quarter and you'd need to get there hours ahead to get a seat. No really great sports bars in the Quarter, but EVERY bar has big screens, so find a place you like after wandering about all day and settle in and have fun!

I'm hearing Champion Sq will be showing the game on the big screen...if the weather is GOOD that will be a good place to watch you can bring your own chairs as well!
