🏈 Vols sign football player who had role in rape

This subject is a little too touchy for me to fully comment on, as is most rape cases.

I definitely thought he should be forgiven given that it was when he was younger. However, hearing all the things done to the poor girl he should be in jail...not playing college football.

This is where the term juvenile goes out the window when you do something so hideous and horrendous.

My feeling is he does not deserve to be on the field but in jail or somewhere working his arse off....not playing anything...except spades with his jail mates.

And Gary F. Me and a friend had the exact conversation...all it took was for someone to go to her and tell her what she should do...or else.

A scholarship is not a second chance--it's pretending the guy was never an accomplice to a heinous crime.

Everyone up there involved in the decision who supported it is supporting the crime, as far as I'm concerned. It's sickening. I mean, what would happen if hypothetically their recruit was somehow proven to have voluntarily taken part in the Holocaust? (Ignore age factors here--speaking hypothetically.) Would they just say it should be forgiven and hand him a scholarship that is supposed to represents a honor and a privilege???

Sick.
