I know we have another game this week in Arkansas but since I live in TN and have numerous friends that are UT fans I troll their message board 2 weeks leading up to the Bama game each year (about 10 years now) to see what is being said. Below are just a few of the comments being left. No one on their board gives them any chance. I know we have beat them for 10 years but I cannot honestly say I have ever seen their board like this. Most of the time it is... "if we do this" or "if we can contain" but this is absolutely hilarious.

No, CBS wants to use their only national college football game to show what will probably be at least a -30 point Vegas spread game where Saban will be able to name the score. Seriously, this massacre should only be shown very late at night when children are asleep.

Argh...when will our nightmare end?

Tennessee has literally ZERO chance to win. Z E R O. I don't think I've ever said that before. The road game at Oregon is the only other game that comes to mind where i can remember having little to no confidence that we'd win.

What time is receiving of friends?

I've been watching the TN-AL series for over 40 years and I can honestly say that this year is the first when I didn't think we had a chance to beat them. I wasn't overly optimistic at times, but at least thought we could play with them.
When this team struggles against UMass on our home turf, it doesn't look good.

Very funny. @TidertillIdie, I have a couple vile fans and they usually want to talk some smack a couple of weeks before our game but they are singing the blues this year. I love it when the viles are miserable.

what's interesting to me is how the players are going to take this game. not ours, but theirs. it's all on how their players are thinking about this game. if they're thinking along the same lines as these fans, then yeah, it's gonna be ugly; quickly and often.

but if they have some heart and play a good game despite their coach (which i've seen before on numerous occasions), then they can make a game of it for at least half the game. the players may just say, "fuck it, let's do this for ourselves and no one else" and put in a great effort.

don't get me wrong, i still think we win the game. but it's all on the mindset of their players. if they start drinking the juice put out by their own fans, then it's over before it begins. otherwise, i think they make a game of it; at least for a quarter-and-a-half.

BUT...

if we play arkansas close (i.e., play down to their level) and our guys get pissed off, then it's lights out for the vols. and when the lights go out, the real beating will begin, lol. which i wouldn't mind in the least. why.....?

My little brother is a Vol graduate and I have been on him pretty hard until the last two years. It's not fun anymore.. it's like beating up on a special needs kid.

They have been so bad and so dysfunctional for so long it almost makes me feel sorry for them..... NAY!! I still remember Fat Phil and the smirk on his face when he ratted us out. I still remember Peyton Manning standing there leading the band in Cocky Flop at Legion Field.

lol...I still enjoy it just as much. Just now they lay down and take it rather than having any misplaced hope or pride.

I knew watching them play Florida when it was obvious that the offensive players, especially the QB, didn’t appear to know the plays it at least be on the same page. It happened so many times in the first half, I thought, this team is toast.
