He, nor his father, believe he is developed to his highest level in college ball. The reasoning is that development can happen in the league during his first few years.

There's more to this story that just development and Brandon touched on it earlier mentioning "an emotional decision."

One point to consider if you're looking for answers lies with the emergence of Landon Collins in the same safety position. Ask yourself this question. Which of these two players brings more to the field, Landon or Vinnie? Take your answer and put it in this context. Do you believe Vinnie would get more snaps than Landon? Do you think equal reps would mean he could improve his stock?

Who is gonna replace HaHa next year? I expected Landon to step in there and Vinnie back at strong safety like they did with HaHa's suspension.

Kiffin's hire had absolutely nothing to do with Vinnie's decision. This is something that's been building since 2012.
