He played a very good ball game. It's clear he's a smart, hard nosed player, but I agree coverage skills, and general speed, could limit his role with the defense. Although it's unfair to compare him with Barron on run support at this point, he arrives a fraction later and in less of a position to make the tackle. Time will tell if that's inexperience or lack of speed. From a coverage standpoint, if I remember he played more linebacker than DB in high school, so I'm sure there's room for improvement there, too.
Regardless, I'm thrilled to have him on the team and contributing.
