🧑‍🤝‍🧑 / 🏡 Videos of the day...whatcha got?

I don't care how secure it is, I ain't getting in a car with a bee hive in it🤣
I tagged Wayne because he has his own hives. I know he mentioned moving his queen a few years ago. I don't remember how, or why, or what he was doing other than moving them.

While I've never been around hives and their keepers, when I saw that post I knew it wasn't right. It's stupid.

I did decide to look up containers for moving hives / queens and here's the results before hitting "shopping."

Never fooled with them but my dad did. He'd move them in the back of the truck and usually after dark. Only ones I remember him moving were the swarms he'd catch in a hive. He'd usually replace the queen with a bought one that was supposed to be from a type that wasn't aggressive, maybe Italian or something remember it was foreign because I thought it should've been French.

Another thing I dislike about being in rural alabama, the beer selection sucks.
The Coors Banquet in the still shot of that video is what caught my attention. (Bud light bit made it funny.) Confidently, moving from Memphis to Tuscaloosa ... couldn't find it there. At least no where convenient.

Ha! I hate memories like this one. The grocery store on McFarland close to where Lurleen B. runs in ... only place.

That video shows the selection of most stores within 100 miles. About makes me give up beer when I'm here

My palette was officially labeled "bored" by the USDA several years ago. When we had the Grill there were only a handful of regular that drank Yeungling. Several of them from the tap. So, if there was one thing I KNEW going in is that there would be cold Yeungling. We're getting close to that being 20 years ago; it's a lot more popular today than it was back then. A LOT more in these parts. But. I can find it almost anywhere.

The only time I broke from that was mentioned here. The Circle K has 24oz Budweisers; two for three bucks. I don't care for beer from a can much less the big cans where the quality isn't as good. And then I came back to that "three bucks" thing. (Reminds me of The Corner Store in Tuscaloosa having $4 12-packs of Icehouse when I was in undergrad.)

Come to think of it ... one of the reasons I drank Coors Banquet back in the day? Very few regulars at that store drank the same.

(It's hard not to type PDA.)

The IPA craze is a bug that's never bitten. I don't want to order something to drink while wondering how it'll taste. The notion it's beer is like saying Johnny Walker Red and Black are both Johnny Walker. While it's true, it's not.
