It appears IF she would have invested a few more minutes ... "maybe that box isn't as secure as I'd like to think?"Think I would've invested in a hitch carrier.

I tagged Wayne because he has his own hives. I know he mentioned moving his queen a few years ago. I don't remember how, or why, or what he was doing other than moving them.I don't care how secure it is, I ain't getting in a car with a bee hive in it![]()

Never fooled with them but my dad did. He'd move them in the back of the truck and usually after dark. Only ones I remember him moving were the swarms he'd catch in a hive. He'd usually replace the queen with a bought one that was supposed to be from a type that wasn't aggressive, maybe Italian or something remember it was foreign because I thought it should've been French.I tagged Wayne because he has his own hives. While I've never been around hives and their keepers, when I saw that post I knew it wasn't right. It's stupid.
I did decide to look up containers for moving hives / queens and here's the results before hitting "shopping."

The Coors Banquet in the still shot of that video is what caught my attention. (Bud light bit made it funny.) Confidently, moving from Memphis to Tuscaloosa ... couldn't find it there. At least no where convenient.Another thing I dislike about being in rural alabama, the beer selection sucks.
Mine showed as " not found".The Coors Banquet in the still shot of that video is what caught my attention. (Bud light bit made it funny.) Confidently, moving from Memphis to Tuscaloosa ... couldn't find it there. At least no where convenient.
Ha! I hate memories like this one. The grocery store on McFarland close to where Lurleen B. runs in ... only place.
Got deleted before you could see it...don't know why.Mine showed as " not found".

That video shows the selection of most stores within 100 miles. About makes me give up beer when I'm hereThe Coors Banquet in the still shot of that video is what caught my attention. My palette was officially labeled "bored" by the USDA several years ago. When we had the Grill there were only a handful of regular that drank Yeungling. Several of them from the tap. So, if there was one thing I KNEW going in is that there would be cold Yeungling. We're getting close to that being 20 years ago; it's a lot more popular today than it was back then. A LOT more in these parts. But. I can find it almost anywhere. That video shows the selection of most stores within 100 miles. About makes me give up beer when I'm here
Usually drink Yuengling if there are no local beer to try, like it best on draft. My palette was officially labeled "bored" by the USDA several years ago. When we had the Grill there were only a handful of regular that drank Yeungling.
The IPA craze is a bug that's never bitten. I don't want to order something to drink while wondering how it'll taste. The notion it's beer is like saying Johnny Walker Red and Black are both Johnny Walker. While it's true, it's not.
The problem is found right in the sentence: local. I've been to several around the area and felt like I was in a Bluesky, propoganda advertisement: "shiny, happy people" everywhere. I throw my love around but can't stand the "love me, love me" crowd for more than a few minutes. (Damn, started channeling Michael Stipe there for a minute.)Usually drink Yuengling if there are no local beer to try, like it best on draft.
To start, going with a food thing here. You'll get the point. Most IPAs taste like two week old flower vase water smells. I've had a couple decent ones but generally avoid them unless someone I trust tells me how it tastes. Had a couple at Airline brewing in Maine that I liked, liked everything they brewed.
I've enjoyed most of the breweries I've been to. Most are laid back and just have folks who like beer in them. Many have games and snacks so the kids like going. I like them mostly because I can get a couple of flights and try 8 or 10 beers that equate to drinking 2. If I find some I like I'll grab a few to go, usually in crowlers. I've been to a couple where i didn't enjoy the vibe and a few where i didn't enjoy the beer but I'm looking forward to heading back out west and finding some I haven't been to yet.The problem is found right in the sentence: local. Funny thing with my digestive BS that's been going on ... I've become less of a fan of carbonated drinks; of any kind. I picked up one of the 7-11 "Gatorade" type drinks the other day; too sweet. I poured half of it out and added some ginger ale...damn near ruined it because the carbonation just hits me weird now.
It makes me wonder about beer, to be honest.
Yuengling. I'll go draft in a heart beat as long as it's in a mug/glass.

Next time you're playing with shrimp (scallops are good, but not as good) look up "Copy cat walkerswood shrimp" from Hops Grillhouse and Brewery. You won't regret it ... white wine, cream, ground black peppercorn dish with a jerk seasoning. Incredibly good!!!
When they were open they brewed their own beer. It's the closest thing/time I've reached the IPA world. The had an India Pale Ale (tap read IPA) I enjoyed; a good red amber as well. BUT, I went there for the food...beer was just the icing on the cake.
Dude. Even their meatloaf was good.
Reminded me...when the (now) 7-11 opened down the street they had growlers, with tap beer, for sale. It's now all coffee. I've never asked why they stopped the offer. I tried one; not too bad.I've enjoyed most of the breweries I've been to. Most are laid back and just have folks who like beer in them. Many have games and snacks so the kids like going. The character 'Russell McIntosh' from The Madison. That's the crowd, minus the bitter face. Most are laid back and just have folks who like beer in them
