šŸˆ Video: Tua back on the practice field

Alabama practice report: Updates on Tua Tagovailoa, more

It's happening

Outside linebacker Terrell Lewis was spotted going through individual drills. Lewis, who underwent surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in July, looked agile. Lewis returned to practice Nov. 26.
— Before the team took the field, Chris Allen was spotted in a full practice gear. The sophomore outside linebacker suffered a serious knee injury back in August and hasn’t played all season.
— Left guard Deonte Brown, who has been battling turf toe and missed part of the SEC championship game after being hurt, was seen practicing.

Tua looks better in less than 2 weeks than Jalen did after close to a month. I don’t think he’ll be back to the running threat he can be until next year but I’m optimistic he can be effective enough to move around enough to avoid the rush and maybe scramble for a few yards as a last resort.

We were told at the beginning of this injury that it wasn't as extreme as Jalen's ankle. In spite of the Dan Patrick's of the world telling the world otherwise, the video would seem to suggest Tua will be ready.

I've been trying to figure out how Dan Patrick would know. I would imagine Patrick's sources inside Alabama are about as deep as mine are.

So, he gets to practice during bowl week? Is the only early enrolee?
Yes, he can practice if needed. It's been the plan to have him work in the same role as Clemson's Lawrence when, and if, it comes to the Tide preparing to face Clemson.

The rest of the early enrollees are listed in the NSD thread, first post, at the bottom (including targets who plan to enroll early.)
