Beat Wake Forest 41-7 tonight to be 6-6. Pretty cool to see Vandy beat someone by 34 points.

I, for one, am very happy to see this. I really think these next few years will be very good for Vanderbilt. It's nice to see them in a bowl again. :biggrin:

I to am happy for Vanderbilt. I was a student in Nashville during the late 70's and early 80's and Vandy was and continued to be the laughing stock of the SEC. Hopefully, they will receive a a bowl bid in the coming weeks. If any college football program deserves one the Commodores do IMO.

Heard on the radio today that this senior class will be the first in Vandy history to have been to 2 bowl games before graduating.

Yes, and for those who want to say that lower tier SEC teams aren't that good, Vandy mashed a Wake team that came close to defeating Clemson, Georgia dominated a Tech team that came in with the same w-l as the dawgs, USCe routed Clemson, and Clemson made Conner Shaw look like an all SEC candidate. Only the QB deficient gators lost to an ACC opponent last week end.
