They are doing good so far, and i highly commend them for that. But i think USA Today are jumping the gun in ranking them. Let's see what they do over the next 3 or 4 weeks before we crown them a Top 25 team.

agreed, Skip Holtz and Bobby Johnson both will do really well wherever they go in the future. Especially Holtz...he's got a fan in me!

They are 4-0, 2-0 in the SEC. If anyone else in the SEC was where there are, by the way they are the only SEC team with 2 conference wins, they would be ranked. Know that someone has to be ranked in the last slot of the Top-25, who else is more worthy right now?

Sure they may be on "borrowed time", but the polls are current rankings vice speculations of what will happen 3-4 weeks from now. South Florida reached #2 last year, and how many people thought that this meant that they were headed for a loss in the BCS title game?

I see Vandy getting five more legitimate chances to win this year: at Miss St, Duke, @ Kentucky, Tennessee, and at Wake Forest. I think they will beat Miss st and duke, and possibly upset Tennessee this year.....even though the way they are going now Vandy may be favored in that game... :lol:
