🏈 VA Tech; where will you be watching?

I've had the pleasure of meeting with the NYC group on Gameday. They have a very nice and classy sports bar and a gigantic group! GMac was even there. There's so many of them that they have a 2nd bar that also gets slammed. And the Ainsworth (primary spot) is no small joint. Definitely worth a trip one weekend from Philly!

My 24-day-old son Miles and I will be watching with our usual Bama group in our living room. He might as well get used to the game day atmosphere. He's got almost as much Bama gear as me, but he'll outgrow it and the dogs will get the hand-me-downs.

The UA alumni site, http://alumni.ua.edu/chapters and google. It looks like the Central PA association has no website, but you can email to see where/what they do for games. neucleus38@juno.com David Brubaker. It shows an address in Landisville, near Lancaster and a good haul for you.

The simple fix for this dilemma is a southern FALL road trip.

Thanks for checking, I appreciate it!!

I'll actually be in Chicago that weekend, so I'm thinking of going to the Houndstooth Saloon. I think that's what it's called.

Anyone ever been?

I haven't been but I have a cousin that lives in Chicago and he practically lives at The Houndstooth Saloon during football season. I believe the owner is a UA grad and that place fills up quick so get there early. If you go, yell for Scott and tell him his cousin Kevin said ROLL TIDE!!!

I watched Bama beat Arky there in '07. Had a blast. I still have the huge Houndstooth beer mugs in a kitchen cabinet. It's a stone's throw from Wrigley, and a neat little bar. It will be filled with UA fans on gameday obviously. So many that's it's hard to even walk around... but we had a blast.
