A positive way to look at it, is that UT has the worst pass defense of the three team run we play to close out prior to the bye week. Should be a nice breather for us.

I think Bama will be up for this game because Tennessee is such a big rival. The only games on the schedule that aren't against a big rival are Mississippi State and Tennessee Chattanooga.

I'd look for Coach McElwain to get Greg in some early safe throws to build up his confidence to get him going. Everyone knows stats are and can be deceiving so I wouldn't put too much into their ranking in pass D. If memory serves me correctly, didn't Ohio light them up for like 300+ yards a couple weeks back?

I think the problem is that even these types of throws have been missed by McElroy

I think Greg let all of the "why isn't JJ getting more touches" to the point that it has gotten in his own head. Look for the TE to get involved early on some corner routes or option routes and flares out to backs. These throws and the bruising ground game can open up play action and Greg will be everyone's favorite again.

i hope monte doesn't pull something from his sleeve to get mcelroy to make some mistakes.. this is going to be a tough game.. kiffen thinks florida is tennesse's biggest rival, but he will be suprised at how this game will effect his perception from fans.. i would say we are deffinately TN's biggest rival.. looks like another big night from ingram.
