šŸˆ UT football players arrested for armed robbery

According to the AP it was Edwards and Richardson who approached the other car with the gun. I guess Jackson was the getaway driver.

It doesn't help their cause thet they found drug paraphenalia and weed in the car, as well as the gun.

This is a sad story, much like the tale of Jimmy Johns. These guys just don't know how to do the right thing. Some of them are so far away from being mature when they step onto campus, they virtually have no chance.

Plus, Knoxville is boring. There's nothing else to do but knock over old folks at the Pilot Station.

I predict they will be suspended, then reinstated selectively, much like LeGarret Blount. Kiffin's days are numbered there, and they will find someone who is better at the SEC Football discipline thing.

How exactly can they suspend them and reinstate if they're in prison. This is a felony homie, not something u can just suspend a player for.

Indeed, its like when JJ(forgot his name lol) got caught dealing cocaine. You just dont get off with a warning for this level of crap, best they can hope for is to get out of prison before their elligibility expires, not that they could ever play for anyone again.

You are making some pretty big assumptions, considering this is Knoxville we are talking about. Players have been arrested up there before and nothing come of it. I'm not saying these guys might not get some community service or possibly even a 2-5 year probation, but we are talking about pretty young guys, who possibly (though not probably) don't have previous violations.

It's Knoxville, and it's Tennessee. The rules are thrown out the window.

I don't see anyway how this stuff can be put into a better light for these kids. Armed robbery is armed robbery. I don't think you can get juvenile status for this. I don't see probation being a pissibility either. 2-5 years in prison likely but no probation.

The UT fans are trying to spin it that Jackson was in the car and had "no idea" what was going on. Others are saying that he was inside the store and came out to see the other 2 holding up the people.

I can hear coach spurrier
talking to a recruit that thinking about
going to tenn. and saying if you go to tenn.
you won't do nothing but rob people at gas stations.
:rofl::rofl::rofl:
