šŸˆ UT football players arrested for armed robbery

I think Kiffin suffers from the pro mentalilty like Shula did where players are EXPECTED to play and perform well on and OFF the field.. its probably a pretty lax environment at UT, and unless Kiffin changed that he will loose control quickly

one article i just read said it was a semi-auto pellet gun...classic. other reports say at least one was in Tenn apparel - so now i'm curious, did they wear their jersey...hahaha

too bad the person they tried to rob didn't have a REAL gun and kill'em. I have no pity for fools like this.

Its a shame, but they CHOOSE to do this.

oh yeah, have fun Juwan...

Reading the comments by the Vol fans just solidify what morons they can be:

"Kick 'em to the curb Kiff" or "Cut 'em immediately Kiff".

The decision to appear tough will be so damn easy because they will be 32 years old by the time they get out of prison. I guess they would have 3 years of eligibility left though.. :lance:

Nice!

• In February, new Tennessee coach Lane Kiffin kicked off a public tiff with the school by insinuating someone at Pahokee would try to sabotage his recruitment of Nu'Keese Richardson in Florida's favor. "Someone at the school was going to screw it up," Kiffin said. He also ripped the town, saying, "You take that hour drive up from South Florida, there ain't a gas station that works. Nobody's got enough money to even have shoes or a shirt on."
• In May, Pahokee principal Ariel Alejo banned Tennessee assistant Eddie Gran from campus until Kiffin apologized publicly to the school. Kiffin did, and Richardson is a freshman this season with the Volunteers.

"So Nu'Keese' cell phone rings right, and we ask who it is, and he tells us that it's the Knoxville PD. And just so you know, the Knoxville PD isn't supposed to contact a player while they're attending UT, so that's an NCAA violation, and I'm gonna turn 'em in right here in front of you".

Jackson Learns From Mistake

"To know that it was my fault, it felt a little bit worse," he said. "It's in the past now so it's back to work.

This was a comment from Janzen Jackson just prior to his arrest for armed robbery. Remember he was already on administrative suspension. I guess he really didn't learn anything after all.

Dumb as a Brick?

This is a sad story, much like the tale of Jimmy Johns. These guys just don't know how to do the right thing. Some of them are so far away from being mature when they step onto campus, they virtually have no chance.

Plus, Knoxville is boring. There's nothing else to do but knock over old folks at the Pilot Station.

I predict they will be suspended, then reinstated selectively, much like LeGarret Blount. Kiffin's days are numbered there, and they will find someone who is better at the SEC Football discipline thing.

not so fast my friend! No way Kiff can sweep this under the rug. This aint the eighties or early nineties no more. This crap is instantly national...no world wide news! An example will have to be made.
