Nu'Keese Richardson and Jenzen Jackson( suspended last week for "administrative reasons") were arrested for armed robbery last night.. just heard the story on the news I'll post a link when I can find one.

A member of the UT Sports Information Department confirmed to us that Nu'Keese Richardson and Janzen Jackson were arrested about 2:00 o'clock Thursday morning.

Police say the men were armed with a small semi automatic handgun and robbed a person in the parking lot.
Police arrested them a few minutes later.
Again, UT football players Nu'Keese Richardson and Janzen Jackson are under arrest in connection with an early morning armed robbery.

there's a reason i named it the BAMAnewsbot.

It ticks me off when it finds Alabama in an article and the subject is about Auburn! Slowly, but surely, I've weeded those out.

FWIW, it's somewhat like google...searches for key words from certain sites and posts them...search engine of sorts that works off of RSS feeds.

Looks like both LSU and the Gators won the war (long term stability) even though they may have lost the battle (signing these two players).

Will be awfully hard for Kiffinkin to spin Richardson away. Afterall Kiffin was so vocal and public about his efforts to recruit the young man away from Florida.

I thought about that earlier. It's the reason I suspect this will remain in the headlines a little longer than a situation at another school.
 
I'll take the high road here. What an absolute shame for these young men! They had their education paid for, their meals paid for, their housing paid for, and got to play a game they love every Sat. in front of thousands of passionate fans.

How do you screw that up with a semi-automatic at a Pilot station? How do you not know a little better than that? How do you find yourself in that situation?

That said, this goes back to my post after our game with UT. Kiffin's coaching and childist behavior don't bother me as much as his apparent lack of desire to mold and develop these young men. When you're more concerned with street cred than character you'd better get to know the police very well....you'll be spending a lot of time with them.

I said it then, and I'll say it again. If a recruit comes down to Tennessee and Alabama it's probably someone we don't want. What Lane Kiffin offers and Nick Saban offers are two totally different experiences. If someone is attracted to Kiffin's ways go,run, fly to Tennessee please (just don't think that is the kind of person we want here at Alabama).

As Terry mentioned, don't you know LSU and Florida are breathing a sigh of relief this morning.
