Just talked with a doctor that knows one orthopedic surgeon. Said Tua has career ending injury to his hip. Say it ain't so.

Benton Emblom is the hip specialist. He’s also Auburn’s team doctor.

Current plan is for Dr. Emblom to go to BHM after the AU Georgia game and operate tonight.

Any doctor that would diagnose something like that from his couch, let alone diagnose it as a career-ending injury is an awful doctor....

I hate to hear this about Tua, in regards to the injury. This really sucks for him and the team, obviously.

This was tweeted by a doctor who said "it looked like" a similar injury to Bo Jackson's career ending injury. His diagnosis was based on what he saw on TV. He has not examined Tua.

It is a similar injury to Bo's, except they put his back in place and it tore a vein, then did not go to a hospital for a week. By which time necrosis has set in on the bones. Also, that was 30 years ago, medicine has come far in that time.

This type of injury is most commonly seen in traumatic circumstances, usually car crashes. Really awful stuff.

Because there is no statement yet. Everybody is reporting "as sources who know" only what is on social media. It doesn't look promising, but no official announcement has been made.

it was quoted to me by another doc. He said he had inside information. I hope it ain't so. I know nothing first hand, just reporting from IMO a reliable source. He said all the orthopods are talking about it.

Yeah I doubt it. I bet you read a tweet and posted this crap. I sometimes think you are mentally challenged with some of the stuff you post.
