I guarantee that Plank was involved and gave his approval for that much money.

Waste of money from day one. My suspicion is this was about somebody that knew somebody and based on that relationship someone was trying and help give UCLA a boost. It backfired because that is a lot of charitable giving especially during an economic downturn.

Football is done on the Left Coast......Oregon is setup to be the King because Mario still is old school. The question is can recruit enough old school players to play his brand of call on the coast. Hoover vs Thompson will have near as many fans as the PAC12 CG.

Dang, moving on from Cal and UCLA? They either need to count on that money staying with their company, or they have really overstated the value of both programs in the retail market.

Under Armour is struggling financially. They must make some (lots) of cutbacks to stay alive. They paid too much for the UCLA partnership and nobody cares enough about Cal to give the exposure UA needs.
