šŸˆ UCF won't accept UF's 2 for 1 schedule request?

ucf: "we're national champions. and we'll take on any team, anywhere."

uf: "we'll play you in a 2 for 1 deal."

ucf: "no, we don't wanna do that."

it's quite obvious ucf only wants to play teams they can beat on, on a consistent basis. if they wanna be taken seriously, they should start scheduling openers with teams like uga, osu, ou, aTm, clemson, or even BAMA. and if they can beat those teams, year and year out, i'll give them the credit they're due. otherwise, they need to shut the hell up.

Problem is...they have good talent today.....
Tomorrow....maybe not....
Group of 5 teams are up n down...see FAU last year...this year....
Thats just how they are..
they have a good recruiting area...and Orlando....works for them...as opposed to ....say.....La Tech.....in Ruston LA.....where its much toughr to recruit.....

I was watching CFB Live this morning and one of the things mentioned by Joey Galloway was the cache UF has versus what UCF brings to the table. He quick to point out UF's three titles versus that of UCF's. I didn't like his point because I don't find it fitting—after all, UCF wants that chance to compete for the title, right? It's as if he's saying "you need this but can't play for it."

I'm not of that club. Titles have no bearing in my view; it's all about sustained success.

Yes, they were undefeated last year. And yes, there's a chance they finish undefeated this season. But, people are quickly forgetting...
