The University of Alabama hosted Colorado State for the first home game of the season. The Tide came out on top, 31-6. Several prospects and commitments made their way to Tuscaloosa and had a lot to say about the non-conference game.
Tyler Carr, 2015 four-star offensive tackle from Southside High School: "I enjoyed it. I had a good time. I saw Alabama pull out a good win. I enoyed talking to Coach Saban and Crisobal.
"Coach Saban hasn't broken down my film, but will soon. He told me just to give him some time. He wants to talk serious after that. Coach Cristobal was excited about having me there. He wanted me to enjoy myself. It was a good time.
"I enjoyed it. It was still a good game to go watch. It was the first home game. I liked seeing their fans show up. It's a huge stadium. Their fans are very loyal."
Carr had coaches from Ole Miss at his game on Friday night. Alabama assistant coach Bobby Williams stopped by his school on Friday prior to the game. Carr will likely visit Georgia next weekend.
Octavis Johnson, 2015 four-star cornerback from Clinch County High School in Homerville, Ga.:"The visit went good. That was my first visit over there. It was nice. They have a nice campus. The fans are crazy. It was so loud.
"I talked to Coach Nick Saban and Coach Smart. They were just talking to me about my grades. They talked to me about my how season was going.
"It was a good game. They played good. I liked the Paul Bryant Museum. I got to see all the national championships and SEC championships. I saw all the bowl games they have won. I saw the statues. It was all really nice."
Dallas Warmack, 2015 offensive guard from Mays High School in Atlanta, Ga.: "The visit was good. I talked to the coaches. I enjoyed the game. I spent time with Coach Saban. We talked about personal stuff.
"I talked to Coach Crisobal. We talked about what happened at Texas A&M and with Colorado State. I have a nice relationship with Coach Cristobal. We talk a lot. He is a great coach. We talk about schemes. We talked about the game and how he thought the O-line performed.
"The atmosphere was great. It wasn't a big game because it was just Colorado State. I know next week it will be crazy. I will probably go back for that game."

Johnny Dwight, three-star defensive tackle from Wilcox County High School in Rochelle, Ga.: "It was great. "I loved it. That was my first-ever game over there. It was great. It was live. It was an all right game. We should have scored more than 30 points. The defense played pretty good. I thought they played better.
"I talked to Coach Saban, Coach Rumph and Coach Smart. I mainly talked to all of the coaches. Coach Rumph told me to watch my position. He was telling me about the defensive linemen who are hurt right now. Coach Saban talked about my grades. He was saying mainly the same stuff. I plan on going back next week."
Shaun Dion Hamilton, four-star linebacker from Carver High School in Montgomery, Ala.: "It was great seeing all the fans. It was great just being back out there. It was an ugly win, but a win is a win. I know they will come back next week and look really good.
"I thought the defense played good. We couldn't get off the field a few times on third down. I know we were missing a few players. I know a lot of the younger guys got a chance to play.
"Coach Saban said he is glad to get me there in January to be a part of the team. Coach Smart said he saw some of my cut-ups from the season. He likes how I am playing ball. He told me to keep having a great season.
