So Alabama has best offensive lineman and best defense lineman in all of college football. Not sure any of our great, great grandchildren will ever witness that. (Not that it won't happen again in the next 4-6 years depending on how long Mrs. Terry lets Nick coach).

Pretty crazy, huh?

We had the most decorated OL in Bama history just a few short years ago in Barrett Jones, and now we have the most decorated DL in Bama history, in Jon Allen.

I don't think they give the Outland for half a season. I think maybe, possibly, kind of you misjudged his performance.

How many false starts did he have the first few games of the year again?

How many times did we try running left only to get blown up till we finally started running right, behind Jonah?

He was flagged with several false starts at HOME, bruh. He had a few at Arkansas and Ole Piss, which are somewhat excusable. Somewhat.

He was really sloppy the first of the year, dude. Eli and Phil had a running joke on the radio 4 games in "Yet again, Cam Robinson with the illegal procedure", and "Who else? Cam Robinson with the false start"

Like I said, he really cleaned his game up after a rocky first few games.

He deserves all the credit in the world for that. Proud for him.

If you're ragging on his ability to play based on false starts, IMO you're not evaluating him accurately. I'll agree that he's had his share of penalties, but was it him or was it the QB cadence? Let's just agree that he's a good player, with a few issues, that is being rewarded for his performance.

2 Heisman's
2 Maxwell
1 Walter Camp
3 Outland
1 Bednarik
1 Nagurski
3 Butkus
2 Doak Walker
2 Remington
1 Biletnikoff
1 Johnny Unitas

A couple of COTY's stuck in there as well over this past decade. H/T to Julio
