I don't understand Peppers inclusion as a Heisman finalist!

What's not to understand? He's one of the best players in the country and he's a freaking LINEBACKER that returns punts... and not just returns them, he's a danger to score everytime he touches the ball. Plays on offense, defense and special teams. He's the DEFINITION of the type of player that should be up for the Heisman. Better question is why does OU have two players yet Washington's QB, Jonathan Allen and Texas' RB who rushed for 2,000 yards sitting at home?

My bad. I think he is a great player but when you look at his stats they really don't stand out. While unique that he is a linebacker returning punts and kicks, I just don't see it. Great player nonetheless.
