Bill O'Brien has officially accepted the offensive coordinator job for the New England Patriots. Time to see who the new OC is going to be.

Apparently
It's difficult for any defense to play physical and fiercely defend every yard if your offensive style asks them to play lots of snaps and/or with little rest between series. Defenses are better the fewer snaps they are asked to play.Is it to much to ask for a wide open offense that can create explosive plays but can also play physical with a very physical Defense? One can dream right?

No disrespect… but I pray that list grows…yikesWho are possible candidates to become Alabama’s next offensive coordinator?
Who is available for the Tide to hire to replace Bill O'Brien?www.al.com
Basically every "bigger name" that is either available or might be convinced is there. No disrespect… but I pray that list grows…yikes
There are people in FCS that could do a good job… Kirby began at. Valdosta State… Go get North Dakota St. OC…A hungry aggressive Good developer and teacher with the talent we have… we would have limitless potential.Basically every "bigger name" that is either available or might be convinced is there.
We need a QB developer, high level recruiter to help fill the void from Pete and a balanced play caller who has some imagination. Is that so much to ask?
That’s a good list. I’m good with everybody except for Greg RomanWho are possible candidates to become Alabama’s next offensive coordinator?

Given how much time? There are people in FCS that could do a good job… Kirby began at. Valdosta State… Go get North Dakota St. OC…A hungry aggressive Good developer and teacher with the talent we have… we would have limitless potential.
Why?No disrespect… but I pray that list grows…yikes
List is big enough for me. Roman doesn’t move the needle though and we know that Saban isn’t kicking the tires on Kingsbury and the Air Raid.Who are possible candidates to become Alabama’s next offensive coordinator?

I’m sure there is head coaches or great OCords in the FCS that would be extremely successful at UA… Some of the names on that list are not very impressive at all… some are only position coaches or nfl washouts…Dont want another NFL guy (that can’t relate to college players) or quick jump the ship guys at Bama ..bring in someone that may build something a while..Given how much time?
Kirby was a DC at VSU and then went on to be a GA before his time as a position coach—at four different stops—before becoming a coordinator in FBS.
Some are NFL washouts… Some have never ran an offense…Most NFL guys cant develop college players.. They only can coach PROs…Lebby runs his own offense and may not can run someone else’s…Saban has his own system of offense…Maybe it’s time to look at a smaller school or at FCS OCords…Bring in a hungry lower ego guy willing to put in the work..Why?
Like Pete? Some are NFL washouts… Some have never ran an offense…Most NFL guys cant develop college players..
