🏈 Tyrod Taylor

He is the star

of their team and they know this. One of their boards really puts him on a big pedestal, or at least the fans do. Accordingly, he is supposed to be able to run all over us. I will not talk smack on their board and I hope this not smack, but I hope we smack that ball right out of his hands!:hyper:

What I saw was him pulling the ball down and running with it if his first read wasnt there. He didnt bother to check off the other recievers either when he threw, just focused on one guy until he got open.

I didnt see alot of teams play to contain him in the pocket or have a spy for the most part. It would seem that the best gameplan would be to contain him in the pocket and wait till he makes mistakes. Well, I suppose thats the MO for all mobile QBs. Dont see it changing for him.

Our LB corps is so good(i really like eryk anders actually, think hes overlooked) I would imagine we can alternate middle linebackers to spy roles effectively, and this would maintain a pass rush. I wouldnt run any kind of blitzes except the occaisional zone and corner blitzes.

I agree. It seems like he's already planning to run even before he gets the snap. He doesn't even seem to be looking for a receicer for more than 2 seconds before he's gone. I don't see our LBs having too hard of a time with that.

Indeed, and you cant tell me there has been a night and day difference over the course of a year. Mobile quarterbacks are called that because that is who they are. He is not a pocket passer, and Saban is known for eliminating strengths and making teams beat him with their weaknesses.
