Wow! At first, I did think that thread was a joke. But, it's pretty clear they're at least trying to believe that crap. The Auburn fans are obviously in complete denial of UA/CNS success and have decided to live in their own reality; a place where, during the week of our NC game, UA fans somehow give a tinker's dam whether or not AU beats Northwestern.

I must say though, their meltdown just makes this whole thing all the sweeter.

Scarbinski stated that Cheezit's 8-4 was more impressive than CNS' 7-4, because he did not face a rival in decline, an advantage the CNS enjoyed.

I can see the logic in that, but that same same reasoning is why the journey forward is that much more unlikely. 8-4 is not much of a mountain to climb. Those last 4 wins will be a doozy to summit.

There is but one single area where Auburn has an advantage over Bama. Its not in Coaches...not in players...not in facilities...not in program...not in discipline...nor, not in character. Auburn does not have half the teams on its schedule with a week off before that play the Tigers, which Bama does face. And that will not be enough.

Of course there is also no mention of Saban inheriting a program that had be strapped by probation.
 
The boogers are in GREAT shape. I hope they don't change a thing. In two years they will have a dumb look on their faces, scratching their heads, wondering why they are still 2nd best in the state and 4th in the SEC-west. It reminds me of watching a government agency try to figure out how to run a business efficiently. They just don't get it....And never will.
 
It doesn't hurt my feelings when Auburn wins. Personally, I like it more when people like Notre Dame and Tennessee are suffering, because those programs actually do have some history of winning in the past 50 years. Well, winning something other than a People's National Championship or World Championship of People or whatever they called it.

No, I don't mind when Auburn wins. I'd like for both teams to be 11-0 every year when they play. But that never happens, and won't happen next year either. So, instead, we get to listen to a bunch of freakin' whining about they got ripped off or how we must have cheated to win. So childish.

It's the #1 reason why I don't listen to Sports Talk Radio in the Birmingham, AL metro: Too many Agbarn fans who can't simply congratulate us on a great season and wish us luck against Texas.
 
I'm personally already tired of hearing about their win. If an Auburn fan can sit there and feel good about how well their team played and looked, so be it. The only reason NW lost was because bad calls. NW had the chance to win more then one time and couldn't nail it down. Was it because of Auburn's supreme defense, yeah right, not! Auburn looked like dummies running on the field not once, but twice acting like they won a National Championship. Not to mention I can't count how many AU fans said they were gonna beat NW by at least 12 points. They claim we got lucky and won the Iron Bowl. Looks to me they were the lucky ones in the Outback Bowl...

They'll find out this coming season just how bad off they are. They'll come out and win their first couple of games and you'll here about how they're gonna win the SEC West and so on. Hell, they're already talking about winning the west in 2010 on their forums. Keep in mind, we're the delusional ones to them. We live in the past, we're always delusional about Alabama and where they stand. Well, over the past two seasons I've seen AU fans do and act exactly like they claim we act. I've got a kick out of seeing their deep down meltdowns, their moral victories, blah blah. I can't wait until they lose their first couple of SEC games, then come to BDS and get beat again for a third year in a row. Then they'll settle down to yet another mediocre season, one of many to come.

Just let em be, they've got nothing else.;)
