Looks like Rodney Orr has his eyes all over this one (one of Michael's sources.) We'll see how it shakes out but this kid is a speed merchant: 4.25 40 guy.

Redshirt Junior who was very underutilized at UL last year (13 games with only 18 catches for 523 yards and 6 TD with 4 KR for 90 yards). That made him 3rd on their receiving list, with the two guys ahead of him having around 2-3 times the receptions and only a few more total yards.He was their TD Reception leader. I really could see a player like him seeing Jameson Williams getting to the NFL after 1 year at Bama and deciding that he wants in on that. Dude obviously has after catch talent that will never be fully utilized at UL.

I guess they don't realize that anyone can reach out to them through NIL process. and It was him that reached out to Bama first... but then again, Thats what Hall did ... so...... He probably asked "would you take me if I enter in portal immediately?" and answer is yes and he did it.

Contact between coaches and players who are not already in the portal are against the rules no matter who initiates it. Of course I expect the coaches were not involved in any of it directly.

He was a 3 star out of high school. Has offers from a few P5 schools (Wake, Rutgers, etc) but only visited Louisville. Appears he was locked in on them from day one. He was also the #53 rated WR in that class according to ESPN. Same class we took Waddle in.
