🏈 "Two weeks from today. We are going to be on the football field practicing" DeBoer Press Conference from SEC Media Days

Kiffin may be maturing from the standpoint of his evolution from bar roaming Freshwater... but as far as his shit stirring antics go, he's pretty much the same person he was, IMO. He literally just got warned, again (about a week ago), from the SEC office to cool it with the (not so) veiled shots at other coaches.

Speaking of that ... Good stuff.

To be clear, I don't necessarily dislike him... and I'm very, very appreciative of most of what he did while at UA (and how he influenced the offensive evolution under Saban). But I wouldn't trust him at UA for a second, nor want him back. And I think overall, his personality is good for the game... much like a Miles, Leach, Spurrier, Harbaugh, etc. I also believe his words he often shares about his dad are genuine, it was clear he really loved his dad. Still, actions and words often tell different stories in some areas. I haven't seen nor heard anything that moves the needle much in terms of his maturity being where it probably needs to be for a guy in his position (and at his age). Just my 2 cents though...

Almost added that to a prior post... it's invaded baseball too in recent years.
I did too when I was talking with Rickey about podcasts. Look up Locked on Baylor. Beta, but also looks like he could be AJ in 9th grade.

I was thinking about it recently and I think the trend of that type of personality being the way to go...I'm thinking it started, of all places, with a guy covering the NFL: "Greenie."

Agreed. I don't want him at Alabama, but do love the guy in college football and would get along with him if we hung out. But as you stated, I enjoy watching him at another university.
