This random thought is more for those of us over 50 years of age. I was pondering the other day of what a unbelievable fate that I have been able to experience as an Alabama football fan. My first memories of Bama football was watching with my dad the 64 Orange Bowl with Joe Willy trying to sneak over the goal line but "supposedly" not making it, heart broke, I went off to bed only to sneak back down to turn the tv back on hoping against hope that we had won. I grew up idolizing coach Bryant, he was the greatest! When my wife called me at work and told me he had died, I cried like I had just lost my own father..coincidently it was my birthday. Fast forward to 2018, Coach Saban....never would I have thought in a million years I would feel that there was ever going to be a better coach than Paul Bryant, but now there is. Saban has done what no other coach in the history of the game has accomplished in winning so many titles in so little time. Absolutely amazing! But this is my random thought so as not to bore y'all to much....I feel so privileged and blessed to have been a fan of a team that has had the two greatest CF coaches of all time during my lifetime as their coach. I'm fairly certain that I speak for all Bama fans of my generation that this is truly amazing! And to you younger guys, soak up and enjoy every minute of this astounding run of excellence because it passes way to quickly. Roll Tide
