🏈 Two criticisms of Saban

1. We all know that there comes a time for head coaches to relinquish technical duties. Is it time for Saban to delegate DB coaching to someone else? While I've already admitted that we can't blame the defense for the 4th quarter collapse, but rather the offense for not sustaining drives, it seems our DBs get beat far too many times than either their recruiting stars or Saban's reputation ought to allow.

2. Why not use your two remaining time outs to get settled before Clemson's game winning play? Especially after them previously scoring on a pick play and being lined up again in man coverage, why not first see the Clemson formation, call time out to rest your defense and talk it over? Heck, why not call your final time out if Clemson returns with a different formation? Force Clemson to keep reaching deeper in their bag of plays, and if not, at least you're more rested and prepared for what they might do!

Well you and your back seat couch driving with hind sight 20 20 glasses on. I was yelling at the screen to call time out. The truth is Coach Saban has not been in this situation enough to know what to do. :sarcasm:

Saban should def keep coaching DB's... But he should also think about rotating them vs talented HUNH games so we don't see them get so exhausted. #28 was absolutely done with about 8 mins left in third quarter. Never came off the field. Too much talent to be so thin when the game starts... JMO
