| CURRENT EVENTS Twitter has done some inexplicable things but this one surely takes the cake.

The content of the account that was suspended consisted of taking screen shots of tweets from people who contradicted themselves and their own opinions. IE: Under the last POTUS, "I'll never take the vaccine" and then under this administration "People's freedom's should be restricted if they aren't vaccinated." It was political in nature and certainly stepped on toes when those tweeting were exposed.

Here's what's so crazy. DefinantL's was posting screen shots of tweets that are still up and active on Twitter.

I signed up for Twitter back in 2009. Casually used it until around 2016 when all hell broke loose. I posted a video of Savanah Guthrie being partisan and unprofessional. No comment. Just posted it. Someone made a comment that her hair was greasy. I replied with "skank gonna skank". For THAT - I was banned for life. I complained and tried to get my account reinstated, but they wouldn't even respond to my emails. That was late 2020. So, 9 years without incident. And just because some soy boy Nazi auditor at Twitter had a crush on Savannah Guthrie - I was banned for life for basically calling her an unpleasant person. F@(k Twitter and the little fascists that run it.

Twitter is useful to me for joke accounts, sports and video game info, along with a couple of local things I follow. I completely avoid anything political and unfollow anyone who starts becoming overly political. I also rarely ever tweet or reply to anything. It works great for me that way. I have tried alternatives, but so far most are missing everything I use Twitter for. I do not want a far right Twitter as that defeats the purpose of leaving.

This and LinkedIn are the only social media I’m on….please don’t ban me. Pretty sure I’ll survive if I get shit canned on either.

I use Instagram and Twitter, but mainly for following sports info. I do follow some political stuff, but all media companies have become 1939 Nazi Ministry of Propoganda. I am very cautious about what I read or take in from a news stand point. Most of it is hog-wash.
