College Football writer Tom Fornelli of CBS Sports has been retweeting the mentions of Missouri kicker Andrew Baggett since he bounced a FG attempt off the upright in 2nd overtime versus South Carolina. This is Twitter and college sports fandom at its worst:

If you're offended by ______, or ______, or perhaps ______, it's time to hit your back button.

Language filter on Twitter versus what people call "my free speech?"

They obviously don't understand that if "the whole team" would have taken care of business in regulation time that the kid wouldn't have been put in that situation and also the snapper and the holder aren't accountable at all.:sarca:

Yeah let's not bust on the rest of Mizzou for giving up 17 unanswered points in regulation, no no it is all the kicker's fault. Yup. Burn him at the stake!!!

Idiots.

At home leading 17-0 at the beginning of the 4th. It looks to me that the whole defense lets the fans down not the kicker. He also had a kick he misses in the 4th that the laces were out.

Same group of fans who cheered when Matt Cassel got injured last year in the Chiefs game.

Don't let this think that Mizzou fans are classless though. Vast majority of them are pretty classy people and really welcoming. This just looks like a bunch of 12 year olds got on twitter and went full retard.

Kickers have the crappiest job there is on the team...constantly have to about how they are not real football players...that is until the team needs those three points...and if they miss they get to deal with those types of people.
