Some of you have probably seen the viral question flying around social media this week... Could 100 people win in a fight against 1 gorilla? Interesting question, though I'd say no. Now, if I got to pick my 100 people (throughout history of people in their prime years), I'd like my odds. Random everyday people, no way. But, a friend asked me this week, what dozen Bama players would I choose for this task, Royal Rumble style (pin, submit, or throw Gorilla over the ring ropes)? I narrowed down to the Saban years, and now I ask you... What 12 Saban era players would you choose to fight a gorilla to try and ensure victory?
My squad...
#1 - Jonathan Allen (1st man in, sets the tone and matches the gorillaās temperament)
#2 - DJ Fluker (2nd man in. Gorilla starts having doubts)
#3 - Tyler Booker (relentless and wonāt give up)
#4 - Davlin Tomlinson (3 time state champ wrestler, will know how to use his hands and body, and he's plenty strong)
#5 - Quinnen Williams (speed. power. quickness. he was built for this fight)
#6 - Chris Rodgers (rumored to have beaten Rolo in a locker room fight, which gives him a slot by default)
#7 - William Vlachos (scrappy strong, tough, low pad level wins)
#8 - Jalen Hurts (lower body strength will be needed to suplex gorilla)
#9 - Landon Dickerson (country strong, won't be scared, ultimate team guy who can rally the troops)
#10 - Tony Brown (taunts and distracts gorilla, maybe adds a cheap shot or two if able)
#11 - Reuben Foster (comes in full throttle like a black Ultimate Warrior⦠SPEAR!!)
#12 - Derrick Henry (last man in, finally finishes off gorilla with a stiff arm over the ropes)
Outside the ring hype man - Ardarius Stewart (with his axe for intimidation purposes, even if heās "not allowed" to use it... wink, wink)
