I don't think he played enough to cramp. He didn't even play a half.
There's a play minimum for cramps?

When you see cramps they are usually later in the game not before halftime. Tua was sub'd for in the second quarter. I played baseball, basketball and both ways in football and never got cramps. But then everybody's body chemistry is different
Could be a groan issue. He definitely took some hits running the ball.
That's where he worries me. He doesn't have the body/size to carry the ball like Jalen. He seems decent at sliding, though. The way he carries the ball worries me, too.
I dunno man... His legs are like freaking tree trunks. The rappers call that "Slim Thick" :rolf:
Yeah but I don't think they're referring to quarterbacks... lmao His lower body is thick but he's just not got that overall size that Jalen has.

You sure about that, Josh? Jalen is listed at 6-2 and 218. Tua is listed at 6-1 and 218.

Key word is ālistedā. Tua might be 5ā11ā, no more.

So why would be shorter and the same weight make him more injury prone? Seems like the opposite would be true...
As a former collegiate athlete that's somewhat out of shape currently, I still sometimes catch a cramp after 5 minutes of crazy-positioned secks in my ice-cold 71 degree house, without breaking much of a sweat. AND I drink a gallon of water a day.I don't think he played enough to cramp. He didn't even play a half.
Tua, being the well-conditioned affuleet dat he is, had been participating in athletic movement (between warm-ups and live game action) for well over 1.5 hrs with minimal rest between series. In 90 degree heat, sweating profusely. So if he missed just a few ounces of hydration, he was gonna cramp.
Mack Wilson was also catching cramps in the 1st half.
His playing style?I wouldnāt know why he would be any more likely to be hurt than Jalen.
His playing style?
Consider this. Shaun Alexander and Emmitt Smith were both well known for how they took hits in the NFL. It seemed neither received a full blown hit when tackled--almost as if they slide off of the impact.
I don't want to use the term careless (unless we're talking about Tua and ball security) but their styles are different. Tua is reminiscent of "care free" style of play relying on his athleticism. Jalen tends to resemble those two I mentioned...he approaches contact differently.

After this last cramp, yes. Have you considered doing some warm-ups before your live game action?

I don't quite get what point you're trying to make here.On the other hand through 3 games, Tua has 14 rushing attempts where Jalen had 36. I realize many of Jalens rushing attempts ended up out of bounds on the right sideline but still made it up field more than Tua.

Eh, yes and no.
Tua more likely to take on contact the way he's finishing runs... Jalen mabe more "slippery" in how he finishes.

In regards to stature I've always thought the more legs and arms you have the easier it is to get them injured. Regardless, Tua sliding is a beautiful thing. One thing to get injured in the pocket and another to hurt yourself running someone over up 25.
Here. I didn't verify the numbers until you mentioned it this morning. What you're seeing on RT.com is the same as CFBStats.comWhere do you see Hurts with 36 rushing attempts?

Be careful, though - you wouldn't want to go limp after halftime...

Regarding rushing attempts, I see Tua with 14 for 93 and Hurts with 12 for 61. Where do you see Hurts with 36 rushing attempts?
