🏈 #TuaForHeisman season stat tracking thread

It was, the fact they put Tua's name on their Kyler hype material speaks volumes.

Kyler is good, nobody can question that. He's been doing this since his early years, won 3 straight state championships at Allen, only lost 1 game as a starter since high school. But also keep in mind, that the numbers he's putting up are similar to what Baker did last year. Not trying to diminish what Kyler is doing, but when he's repeating what's been done a year prior, what does that mean?

I'm just of the opinion Tua is better. Like I said before, give Kyler a baseball award, since that's where he's gonna end up...

Ya know, I think the odds makers see what we see, and your point about Kyler v Mayfield..

They and everybody see how special Tua is to OUR team.

With Kyler, you have what used to be called a "system QB", combined with mediocre opponent defensive play in their league (which lends to your point about his and Baker's numbers being nearly identical).

With Tua, it's just DIFFERENT. Love Jalen to death as much as every other fan does, but you can just FEEL the difference when Tua takes his bow in the 3rd quarter (mostly) and Jalen comes in. Different tempo.

Which, is a continuation of the title game last year.

A truly neat story especially with JPW calling the action at the same time.

Personally, my favorite play of the game Saturday was Jalen's TD pass. Here's why.

I don't know if you guys noticed but after that touchdown we saw the game plan from Auburn change. We didn't see anymore of their "offensive genius" running the HUNH offense and we didn't see any more plays that are more often found on the playground than the football field.

With this likely being the last game we see Jalen play in BDS, I"m choosing to remember this game as "The game where Jalen made Gus quit."

Anyone else notice the scar on Tua's hand just off of his thumb in the Iron Bowl post game interview? Looked to be about 2.5' to 3" long. Was that the result of Thumbgate back in the summer? First time I'd noticed it, but that means nothing.

No one can deny kyler is a good QB and his stats are comparable to Tua’s , however Tua has only had 2 passes in the 4th quarter while kyler has HAD to play every 4th quarter to try and win . kyler also had to go to the big 12 where they play no defence to be noticed. He couldn’t solidify the starting position while he was at aTm .

Lol, it's a shame only one can win...

Attention snowflakes, protest Heisman so there are no more single winners. Everyone is a Heisman!
Right?

Slow erosion of sacred, long-standing traditions and customs, straight out of Alinsky's playbook. We see it already in a lot of areas, starting with little league sports. No keeping score, no winners or losers, everybody gets a trophy no matter how hard or how little you work. Socialism in action, being instilled in young impressionable minds early on. An entire generation has grown up questioning individual accomplishment and welcoming radical collectivist ideals reverberated in the covert Rules for Radicals echo chamber.

Individual performance awards will be attacked. I'm pretty sure there are already some libtard snowflake articles being written about the Heisman now.

SLO, I see what you’re saying! What will happen with the Tuas and Kylers? What about the Olympics and the Triathlons, Biathlon’s and marathons? It’s a shame but People are letting this happen! We should create an organization to stop this from happening. Ima bout to start preachin here!

Tua might have lost it tonight. Sucks that it works like that but it's the biggest game before the vote and Kyler outplayed him by a country mile, say what you want about the defenses he's played. At least BAMA won the SEC though. The National Championship is bigger than any individual award.

Yup.

I don't blame Tua, but Mike Locksley. He kept the home run route strategy all night instead of taking what the defense was giving.

Did we throw a single screen or hitch to combat UGA's man coverage all night? I couldn't watch, but listened at work. I don't recall a single WR quick screen or even a stop/hitch route.
