| CURRENT EVENTS Trump vs the Democrats. I'm hearing the word "coup" a lot here lately describing the efforts made by the D's to win the election.

Here's one example.

In your eyes do you see this as a coup? An illegal attempt to seize power in the government? Or, do you see the as more hyperbole?

@It Takes Eleven I'm curious, Tim. Bare with me a second here...

I've read a few of your comments over the last two years and I've been left with the impression your support of Trump during the last election was as much about voting against Hillary as anything. Have I misunderstood you?

I'm asking this because I'm a little confused on where you stand (curious is a better word.) I've seen the remarks you've made about the hubris we've seen out of DC the last two years specifically regarding Trump. I get that. At least, I think I understand what you've been saying.

It's led me to this question/thought. If you were voting against what Hillary stood for it would seem to me that would also mean you were voting for how Trump stood on these same issues. In that regard, has he fulfilled what you wanted your President to do? Or, is the "dissatisfaction" you've referred to more about the hubris?

@12gage, I see it as an illegal attempt to seize power, which is a coup. But it is a hell of lot more involved than just the Dem's. It is so far been a peaceful, non violent war between good and evil, except for the false flag events by the evil deep state and shadow government , where real people have been killed and or maimed. Watch this video, it may bring a few things to light and hopefully wake a few people up.

Who or what is Q Clearance Patriot aka QAnon. This video was published on 12/28/17, when QAnon had only been posting for a couple of months.
QAnon now has well over 3000 post on 4 Chan for a little while and switched over to 8 Chan after some problems arose with 4 Chan. This video is posted on the Praying Medic youtube channel.

Sorry, @TerryP I missed this post when you sent it up. It's been a long week with a good bit of travel.

In 2016, I was going to vote for the Republican nominee, whoever it was. Because of his amoral existence, Trump was, by far, my least favorite Republican candidate. However, better to have - at least in the short term - an amoral president who shares many of your policy interests than an amoral president opposed to almost all of your interests. That was the choice for me between Trump and Clinton. Long term, I hope his actions while in office don't create a lasting backlash against conservative candidates in general.

I've been encouraged by some of Trump's priorities, including holding China accountable for their state-sponsored pillaging of our corporate and national interests. It's long overdue. The U.S. has long allowed generous trade agreements as a means to curry favor with nations. A strong Mexico, for example, helps national interests - not the least of which is how few Mexicans now attempt to enter the nation illegally - so the idea of battering Mexico and Canada about isn't as much about saving American jobs, it's playing to his base. The big bogey is what China is doing. To successfully compete against China - militarily and economically - the U.S. needs to retain its good standing with its friends. Trump is missing that key part of diplomacy.

What do I want a President to do? Serve in the office with honor, honesty and integrity. Be fiscally conservative, reduce the size of government, make good appointments - and leave appointees alone to do their work.

I find Trump lacking in critical areas, but he's better than the alternative.

RTR,

Tim

Live action role playing game? If I'm reading this correctly, it's your impression that there are more than one maintaining the account with several playing the role of #QANON?

Interesting thought if that's what you're implying ...

I believe there are multiple people and it is all garbage. QANON acts just like those fortune tellers on the side of the highway, saying stuff you can take a bunch of ways and then people saying they were right later no matter what.

I find myself constantly having to vote this way and I am tired of it. The difference always seems to boil down to going down a particular path really fast or just slowing it down for a bit. The US will get rid of the First and Second Amendments at some point and we will go down the socialist dictator path that places like Venezuela have gone. It sucks but at this point all we can do is try to slow it down and be prepared for when it happens.
