The kid that got hurt was DeAndre Brown, a super stud freshman. Has (had) NFL written all over him. I sure hope he gets the best medical care possible and they do a good job with him, because that is a horrid injury to have to battle back from.

Believe its a lower leg fracture, flopping kind of deal.

That new Sportexe turf is supposed to prevent those types of running injuries... stuff has me worried, a little.

Like bamanaf said, compound fracture of the lower leg. Very similar to Prothro's injury.

I thought he got rolled up on till I saw the replay. It just snapped in mid-stride!

yea that was just horrible. i didnt see what happened as it happened live i just saw the Troy DB's reaction and then saw the leg just flopping around. kid had a ton of potential too. sad.
