That was a disaster. Bama never led and only had it tied up a couple of times.... Just not enough players hitting shots tonight. The D is what it is and was probably good enough but the offense just could not hit that one more shot they needed.

Maybe if Philon had a little more patience on that last drive he could have found a little more space instead of dumping it to Sherrel.

Oats had so much fire in his press conference about defensive intensity. Instead of the team looking prepared to dominate their opponent, it was the complete opposite. Guys going through the motions; no ball screen defense; complete lack of fire. I harp on Adams a lot, but the players need to take responsibility and so does Oats. You can't play like that when it's tournament time. Just inexcusable on all levels.

When Mallette is out there hustling his ass off every single possession, yet you see multiple players taking plays off down 13, it's hard to comprehend.
